At LGSP Sports and Events Lufthansa City Center, we organize fully customized training camps for clubs, federations, and academies looking for the best conditions to train, prepare for competitions, or strengthen team spirit.
We take care of all logistics – from flights, accommodation, and transportation to training facilities, catering, and equipment – ensuring that athletes and teams can focus entirely on their performance.
Over the past years, we have proudly organized training camps for prestigious organizations such as the Qatar Athletics Federation, Aspire Academy, and Winners Football Club, among others. These experiences highlight our ability to deliver tailor-made solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
More than simple preparation camps, our training camps provide the ideal environment for competitive development, team bonding, and unforgettable sporting experiences.
Qatar Athletics Federation – Training Camp
In April of 2022, we organized a one-month training camp for the Qatar Athletics Federation in the Algarve. The camp took place at the Vila Real de Santo António High-Performance Centre, a world-class facility internationally recognized for its outstanding conditions for elite athlete preparation.
The main objective of the camp was the intensive preparation of the team for the Tokyo Olympic Games, ensuring that the athletes had all the necessary conditions to maximize their performance.
During this period, our team managed all logistics – from accommodation and local transportation to meals and support accessing the facilities – allowing the athletes and coaches to focus exclusively on sporting performance.
This project further reinforces our know-how in organizing high-level training camps and highlights our commitment to providing tailored solutions that contribute to the international success of the teams and federations we work with.
Aspire Academy – Training Camp
LGSP Sports and Events Lufthansa City Center has been collaborating with Aspire Academy, providing high-level training camp experiences that allow young athletes to prepare intensively for international competitions.
2022 Edition
In 2022, we organized a training camp for three Aspire Academy teams: Sprints, Throws, and Middle-Distance. Held in the Algarve region, Portugal, the camp’s main objective was preparation for the IAAF World U20 Championships in Nairobi, ensuring that athletes had all the necessary conditions to optimize their performance.
2024 Edition
In 2024, we organized a training camp for Aspire Academy’s Sprints team, once again in Algarve, this time preparing for the IAAF World U20 Championships in Lima. The focus of the camp was on refining speed, technique, and overall performance, ensuring the athletes were fully ready to compete at the highest international level.

Winners Club – Training Camp
LGSP Sports and Events Lufthansa City Center had the pleasure of hosting athletes from Winners Club, Saudi Arabia, for a training camp in Porto, Portugal.
During the camp, the athletes trained with certified Portuguese coaches and gained firsthand experience of the professional football environment in Portugal. They visited the stadiums and academies of top Portuguese clubs, discovering the daily operations and structures that support professional teams.
In addition to the football activities, the athletes also had the opportunity to explore the city of Porto, experiencing its culture and heritage while combining high-level sports preparation with cultural immersion.
This project highlights our expertise in organizing international training camps, offering young athletes a unique opportunity to develop their skills and understand the realities of professional football in Portugal.
