The LGSP Intercontinental Youth Cup is one of the flagship events organized by LGSP Sports and Events Lufthansa City Center, bringing together young football talents from different parts of the world. Established in 2022, the competition has grown year after year, increasing the number of participating teams and, in particular, international teams.
The main goal of the tournament is to become a reference among youth football competitions in Portugal, welcoming athletes from all corners of the world. Since its first edition, we have proudly hosted players in Portugal from countries such as Spain, Italy, France, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Honduras, and Singapore.

The fourth edition of the LGSP Intercontinental Youth Cup took place in April 2025 at the Sport Clube Rio Tinto Sports Complex, further establishing the tournament as one of the leading international youth football events in Portugal.
This edition featured 20 teams, including 8 international sides, representing eight countries: Portugal, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Honduras, Singapore, and Sweden.

The third edition of the LGSP Intercontinental Youth Cup took place in 2024 at the Sport Clube Rio Tinto Sports Complex, further highlighting the tournament’s international growth and ambition. It is increasingly establishing itself as a benchmark for youth football in Portugal.
This edition featured 16 teams, including 5 international sides, representing six countries: Portugal, Spain, England, Italy, the Netherlands, and Honduras. Among the Portuguese clubs participating were historic names such as FC Porto, SL Benfica, Sporting CP, SC Braga, Vitória SC, SC Rio Tinto, Leixões, CD Feirense, Varzim, Beira-Mar, and SC Salgueiros. The international lineup included prestigious clubs such as RC Deportivo (Spain), Wolverhampton (England), Juventus (Italy), FC Twente (Netherlands), and Póvoa Pro Academy (Honduras).

This edition featured 12 teams, including 4 international clubs, representing five countries: Portugal, Spain, England, the Netherlands, and Singapore. Prestigious Portuguese clubs such as FC Porto, SL Benfica, Sporting CP, SC Braga, Vitória SC, SC Salgueiros, Gondomar SC, and SC Rio Tinto competed alongside renowned international teams including RC Deportivo Coruña (Spain), Wolverhampton (England), Prestige Football Academy (Netherlands), and Lion City Sailors (Singapore).
